LADY BUG-GA
My cousin Iyah's birthday party has a Lady Bug theme. We prepared it for two months and a half. Pretty tiring, right?
My aunt first decided to have the theme Thinker Belle instead but I told her that using Disney characters is a common party for kids so she taught of having a different shade of party then there came out the idea of the lady bug.
We've been searching about the cakes and designs and the other stuffs to enhance the knowledge we have about lady bugs. We have got into the point of using our own-made lady bug designs.
And for our home-made lady bug headband, we took a ride to Pine Rose where in we bought our laces, headbands, and those small pom-poms. We walked from there to the Orchids Bookstore to buy some fuzzy wires.
We stayed at my aunt's place for weeks until we finished the 20 pieces of large lady bugs, 16 pieces of the medium sized ones, and 16 pieces for the little ones.
A week came and so as our classes.
I haven't managed the lady bug corporation for a month 'cause I've been doing a lot of works at school.
A week after, my aunt phoned me and told me that she finished the 30 pieces of lady bug headbands, that was a great shock, whoa. She told me to drop by their place the other day so she could let me see the new things she bought for our collection.
Then she asked me to make the invitation, the thank you cards, lady bug stickers and the lady-buggies (IDs).
Okay, and so the preparation is somehow getting finished.
It was the day before the event on July 31, 2010 in which we did the table skirting and the balloons blowing.
"Oh God, please don't make it rain hard tomorrow."
I prayed again and again. Whaa, all the things we've sweat for will just be ruined by rain? No way.
The next day, which is the exact date for the party, it isn't raining at the morning and I were picking the clothes that I would wear for the afternoon. I quite got confused because I have not got a lot of red tops or dresses.
After I took a bath, I came up with these.
PS. I tied up my hair cause I thought that it would curl when I remove it after an hour or two but I were wrong. Haha. That wasn't that much effective.
I called my cousin and asked what would she wear cause I might be the total fashionista in the flock and they might think that I'm the celebrant - I was even wearing boots!
I waited for my dad and mom to finish so we could head to the place. In my shock, I was quite dressed like a party-peep or something, I don't know. Then it rained, okay, that wasn't good.
The part went great and blah, blah, blah.
We had this for the extra giveaway. Woot, red loot bag. I lurve it.
